By our method, a workpiece is processed by electric discharge in a vapor-gas envelope surrounding the processed item.
How does in work
Echolyte equipment is used for surface treatment of products as an alternative to sandblasting, chemical or electrochemical processing.
The greatest benefits of Echolyte appear when processing products with complex surface profiles, for which alternative methods are ineffective.
This technology generates electric discharge in a vapor-gas medium between a metal anode (workpiece) and a liquid cathode (electrolyte plunged in tank).
High temperature of discharge provokes partial destruction, partial anodic dissolution and partial melting of surface micro-irregularities.
This process is selective: peak elevations are exposed to much higher discharge than smooth areas of the anode surface.

The process allows smoothing the irregularities and improving the quality of surface processing.
Electric current flows through this system, and the electrolyte boils up, forming a vapor-gas shell (plasma) on the anode surface, where the current density reaches its maximum.
The resulting increase in the electric field strength near the local surface irregularities intensifies the process of material removal from these irregularities.
1
Speed
Products become smooth and shiny in a few minutes and are protected against corrosion and other exposures
Advantages
of Echolyte

2
Efficiency
Roughness increase up to 5 grades
3
Versatility
Ability to process complex parts with different ridges, internal surfaces and holes
4
Cost effectiveness
Electrolyte is prepared using inexpensive and available materials that do not require special disposal conditions, which significantly reduces operating costs
5
Environmental friendliness

The technology uses no hazardous reagents and thus reduces the impact on human health and the environment, and decreases the disposal costs
6
Performance
The technology is several times more productive than traditional polishing methods, since a series of processes take place during one stage of immersing a part in the tank
7
Modularity
The device can be configured as per customer's requirements
Laboratory equipment
Echolyte L200 is a perfect tool for processing small parts such as medical instruments, implants, jewelry, electronics, and so on.
Industrial equipment
Echolyte M800 is designed for processing of large metal parts or the simultaneous processing of a series of parts.
